People-oriented engineer with several years of experience building and maintaining high-quality cross-product solutions for trading workflows. Most of his career has been focused on core systems handling post-executing transaction data, supporting trading workflows for both market makers and institutional asset managers. Has learned a lot about managing complex data through supporting the core multi-asset transaction platform relied on by various enterprise products. Most engineering successes have come from delivering simple solutions powered by effective use of robust distributed systems. In addition to engineering work, has spent much of his time at Bloomberg working with the recruiting team to interview entry-level and experienced candidates, training other interviewers, and helping develop interviewing practices across Engineering.
