Running Erlang and Elixir on microcontrollers with AtomVM

Microcontrollers have RAM constraints comparable to legacy computers, and the standard BEAM virtual machine cannot run on such resource-limited devices. AtomVM bridges this gap. The talk explains why Erlang and Elixir are a good fit for embedded applications, walks through AtomVM's functionality and design, and serves as an educational resource for understanding how Erlang VMs work through AtomVM's simplified implementation.
