Runs the Systems: Data Distribution team at Bloomberg, based in the London office. The team's goal is to provide managed message broker middleware to Bloomberg's Engineering Teams, with a specialism in RabbitMQ — collaborating with Engineering and SRE teams to set new standards, troubleshoot issues, and enable teams to build and integrate great software as quickly and effectively as possible. Started at Bloomberg as a summer intern and joined full time as a Financial Software Developer, working on ALRT (real-time market data driven alerts), CIX (custom indices), TMSG (Trade Ideas), and Equity valuation, before moving on to the Monitor/Worksheets Launchpad application. Also engaged in recruitment and mentoring of interns, placements, and entry- and experienced-level engineer hiring.
